Indications/Uses
Temporary relief of the symptoms associated w/ common cold & other upper resp infections including nasal congestion, sore throat, fever, chesty cough, headache, body ache.
Patients w/ severe infection; high BP, heart disease, blood vessel disease eg, Raynaud's phenomenon, diabetes, overactive thyroid, glaucoma, pheochromocytoma, prostate problems. Patients w/ liver or kidney problems; underweight or malnourished; patients who regularly drink alcohol. Overdosage can cause serious harm to liver. Do not use w/ any other prescription or non-prescription medicines containing paracetamol. Do not take w/ any other medicines for relief of colds & flu, congestion or blocked nose. Contains caffeine; avoid excessive caffeine-containing drinks. May cause dizziness; do not drive or operate machinery if affected. Lactation. Do not use in childn <12 yr.
Antihypertensives (eg, β-blockers); appetite suppressants or stimulants; antidepressants eg, TCAs; medicines for heart disease (eg, digoxin); warfarin or other anticoagulants.
